Long-Term Engineering Partnership

A senior team that stays past launch. We act as an extension of your engineering — owning architecture, operations, and the long-running calls so your team can focus on the product.

When this fits

Three patterns we see most often.

Past launch, growing

You shipped a v1. Now you need predictable evolution, on-call coverage, and someone owning the architecture decisions that come with scale.

Small in-house team

You have two or three engineers and want senior bench depth — review, mentoring, hard problems — without the cost of more full-time hires.

No CTO yet

You need someone owning the technical roadmap, vendor decisions, and security posture — without committing to a full-time C-level hire.

What's in the partnership

Embedded engineers

Senior engineers in your standups, your Slack, your repos. Joint planning, joint ownership.

Reserved monthly capacity

Predictable retainer with a defined number of engineering hours. Burst capacity when you need it.

Architecture & tech strategy

We own the long-running architectural calls and review every major design decision before it ships.

Production ownership

We're on the pager rotation. Incidents, postmortems, capacity planning, security patching — owned.

Honest reporting

Monthly review with what shipped, what's at risk, and what changed in production — no padding.

Knowledge transfer built in

Docs and onboarding written for the team that will replace us when you're ready. We're not trying to be indispensable.

How we start

  1. 1
    Discovery call

30 minutes to understand the team, the product, and where the gaps are.

  2. 2
    Two-week assessment

Codebase, infra, processes, and risks. Output: a written engagement plan with scope and pricing.

  3. 3
    Spin up (2–4 weeks)

Access, onboarding, pager rotation, and an agreed first-month plan. Then we ship.

  4. 4
    Quarterly review

Every quarter we revisit scope, capacity, and what's worth changing. Adjust or wind down — no contracts you can't leave.
