Who we are
Wizdevs is a software company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at hello@wizdevs.ca.
What we collect
This site collects information only when you contact us directly:
- Contact form submissions: name, email, subject, and message you provide; plus your IP address and browser user-agent string for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
- Standard web server logs: IP address, request path, response code, timestamp, and user-agent. Retained for operational and security purposes.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site. We do not set non-essential cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry.
- To detect and prevent abuse of the contact form (rate limiting).
- To investigate security events or operational issues.
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share it with third parties except where strictly necessary to operate the site (e.g. our hosting provider) or where required by law.
Where it's stored
Contact form submissions are stored in a database hosted in Canada (or our chosen cloud region — see contact us for current details). Server logs reside on the same infrastructure.
How long we keep it
Contact submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any resulting client relationship. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days unless retained longer for a specific security investigation.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, and others), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Email hello@wizdevs.ca and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify recent contacts.
